Program VP, Content & Digital Media Technologies
Melissa Webster leads IDC's Content and Digital Media Technologies research program. This program tracks, analyzes, and forecasts markets and trends in enterprise content management, Web content management, digital asset management, and document and rich media (audio, video) authoring and publishing software. Digital experience management is an important focus area for her program.
Ms. Webster has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry with enterprise software vendors and internet companies ranging from the Fortune 500 to venture-backed startups, and has has held senior management positions in marketing, strategic alliances, business development, product management and product development.
A frequent speaker at industry conferences and other events, Ms Webster's research is often cited in the business and trade press such s The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Business Week, USAToday and ComputerWorld. Ms Webster holds a BA from Wellesley College.
