Sören Stamer is the Chief Executive Officer of CoreMedia. He co-founded CoreMedia in 1996 with 3 friends and led the company from 1996 to 2009 and since 2015.

Under Sören’s leadership, CoreMedia thrived and became a trusted partner of global brands, governmental organizations and media companies around the world. He established CoreMedia as a market leader in content management and digital experience management markets.

As a visionary with a passion for change, Sören’s thinking is shaped by the disruptive force a massively networked society brings to the world. He is recognized as a pioneering advocate for social media, Enterprise 2.0 and self-organizing organizations.

Sören serves on the board of directors of The Lisbon Council in Brussels. He co-edited the book “Enterprise 2.0 – The Art of Letting Go” and received the 2009 German Fairness Prize.

Sören earned a degree in Business Administration and Computer Science with the University of Hamburg. He is married and has four children.
