Terry is the Richmond User Experience Lead at Olson Digital and has over ten years of Information Technology consulting experience. Terry’s background includes a wide range of user experience skills, including, research, concept ideation, information architecture, usability testing, Wireframes, and Agile/Lean methodologies. Terry also has a wide ranging familiarity with risk management and governance concepts including communications planning, role-based security, and change management.
Terry holds a Master of Accounting and Information Systems (MACIS) degree in Systems Development from Virginia Tech as well a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University. Terry has the education and experience necessary to support both completely new technology implementations as well as upgrades to existing technologies. Terry can guide clients from the initial brainstorm through the entire project life cycle all the way to implementation. Terry has worked with many technologies, including SharePoint, Adobe Experience Manager and other CMS systems. Terry can lead a team through a waterfall or agile workflow process to create well thought out and engaging systems.
Terry has worked with a myriad of clients from the retail, financial, and entertainment industries as well as state and local government agencies. A sample of those clients include AARP, Amway, The Nature Conservancy, Annie E. Casey Foundation, Johnson Controls, ISACA, nTelos, Scripps Networks Interactive, Chick-fil-A, Amerigroup, Centers for Disease Control, Ferguson, and many more.
