Marissa is the Vice President of Marketing for Global Snacks Portfolio Transformation at PepsiCo. In her role, she develops and oversees implementation of the transformation strategy to make PepsiCo’s snack brands better for people and the planet.
In her most recent role, Marissa led the creation and implementation of the growth strategy for PepsiCo’s $1.5B global premium snacks business, which included creating new business models to launch super-premium brands in China and Europe. She’s held a variety of marketing roles of increasing responsibility in her 12-year career at PepsiCo, including leading brand innovation at Frito-Lay North America, driving shopper marketing with emerging channels and established retailers, and managing iconic brands like Lay’s, Cheetos and Rold Gold.
She has been recognized for her work in 2014 as Brand Innovator “40 Under 40,” in 2011 as Frito-Lay’s “Marketer of the Year” and in 2009 with the Gold Ogilvy Award for excellence in strategic advertising.
